The C28 road is the shortest (not quickest) route between Windhoek and Swakopmund. Travelers enjoy this road for the diverse scenery, ranging from the highlands of Khomas Hochland, Bosua Pass, Blutkoppe, and Tinkas to the "Moon-landscape" and Welwitschias near Goanikontes.
The old Liebig House, Von Francois Fort (Tronckenposten) and the steep gradient of the Bosua Pass, make it worthwhile to spend time on the C28 road. To top it all is the Naukluft Park with its diverse habitat and animal life like springbuck, oryx, ostriches, zebra, Namaqua (dessert) chameleons, etc.
Harmonie C28 is a privately owned farm, with Self-Catering and Camping facilities on the C28 road. Harmonie C28 offers the option to be both fairly close to Windhoek and about 2 hours' drive to Hosea Kutako International Airport. Many guests use Harmonie C28 as a starting point for their Namibian holiday or as a final sleepover, before heading home.
If you enjoy nature, birding, breath-taking sunsets or only want peace of mind, Harmonie C28 is only 90km west of Windhoek. The C28 road is a relative good gravel road, small sedan vehicles have to take caution.
